Through her perspective

24 January 2012

She has been so overprotected over this years. She drew a clear line on her land, denoting her territory and she stood on it with her frozen heart. The gravity works differently there and she's now falling from this height.

She spent so much time thinking. 'What if I get hurt?' 'What if it doesn't work out?' and 'How Am I supposed to know what's right? She was too paranoid. She let the fear of what-if stopped her from letting herself take a chance on love and life. She focused on she left behind until she was unable to see what lies ahead. She was too afraid to move forward till she hesitated.

She survived for recognition and applause. She lives her life to impress, not to express. She strieved for her presence to be noticed and acknowledged also for her absence felt.

She wonder what is going on inside her. There are times she's really seeing the world through her eyes but most of the moments she's living in her lies. She's reflecting herself in my mirror and all she is witnessing are almost perfections, very far from the reality.

The older she got, the more she understood that life was not always about maintaining the control, sometimes it was about letting go and just learning to enjoy the ride. She knew she should never expect, never assume, never ask, never demand and just let it be.

And now in the end, some of her greatest pain become her greatest strengths. She puts a pair of wing to her heart, ready to fly high and take the risk. She is searching for a reason to smile, just one simple reason, she would never ask more.

and she's really leaving chasing for what her heart desires.
